Jason Passmore
About OMP

The Odyssey Music Project (OMP) is the brain child of saxophonist/composer Jason Passmore (b.1974). He is an Atlanta based composer and performer that specializes in jazz, acoustic and electro-acoustic music. As a composer/arranger, Jason has written or arranged music for various jazz groups and bands that he has been a member. The styles range from jazz to pop, salsa (Latin) and new age (neo—classical) groups. Jason has written original music for similar groups.

The music of the OMP ranges from tranquil melodies to the most interesting and daring sonic combinations on could only imagine. The music goes beyond style and form. It is a combination of intense harmonies, free improvisations, gorgeous melodies and electronic components, all synthesized in electronic based musics. If you listen to the music of Brian Eno, David Helping, Charles Mingus or Kitaro, you will definately enjoy the music of the OMP.
